Dear Fellow Classmates-

To everyone who was able to make the 25th Reunion, thank you so much for coming and sharing what turned out to be a wonderful and memorable evening. It was great to see so many friendly, familiar faces and many equally wonderful spouses and new friends! If you got a chance to join us afterwards at The X-Lounge, then you know the party kept on rollin' and getting better until the wee hours of Sunday morning...Charlottesville sure has changed a lot since we graduated, but most of us has not changed so much at all!

A very special thank you goes out to the Planning Committee for all the hard work and countless hours they put into making the event a success! Kim, Marlina, and Mark were onboard from the outset and committed to making a go of the reunion, no matter what it took, and all the hard work was well worth the squabbles and effort in the end. Everyone in encouraged to participate in upcoming events as much as possible!

For those of you who could not make the reunion- you were missed and missed out! Please get registered at the website and ask any classmates that you are in contact to do the same so we can continue to build our updated database and stay in touch. The website will be up and running for postings, pictures, etc. for years to come, so there should be no excuse for not getting and staying involved with all things regarding the "A.H.S. Class of 1983"!

Many of the classmates who did attend the reunion expressed a desire to do something like a cookout or party each Summer in a less formal way. We are eager to make this great idea a reality but we will once again need your help when the time comes to plan for the Summer of 2009, which will be here before you know it.

Please visit the official Albemarle High School website to learn more about a wonderful opportunity to get involved with a fundraising effort to upgrade the football stadium and turf- a chance to give back to the school and area that meant so much to all of us.

We are blessed to have such a talented, diverse, fun group of classmates and we are proud to be able to call most of you close friends! Stay in touch!
